Hello Teaticket Families,
I would like to share some news on the availability of learning packets for all students. In the Superintendent’s recent message, you heard about learning plans for students during our school closure. This Friday, March 20th we will be distributing learning packets for all students in grades K-4 from 8:30-11:30 am. Students in grades 3 & 4 will also be picking up their Chromebooks during this time frame.
In order to distribute the packets we will have volunteers stationed in the bus loop at the Teaticket School so that no one has to get out of their car. We kindly ask that you drive up, tell the volunteer your child’s name and their teacher's name. We will then get a packet for you to take home. Students in grades 3 & 4 will return their signed User Agreement (which was emailed earlier this morning) and pick up both their Chromebook and learning packet.
Please know that the key intent of this learning packet is to help students stay connected to school. The materials should be familiar. These resources are not intended to introduce new skills. By engaging in the continuity of learning exercises, students will help their teachers find the place from which they can start again when school reopens.
In order for us to organize the pickup of each student's materials I ask that you follow the schedule below. In addition it would be helpful if you place a piece of paper on the passenger side dashboard of your car with the name of your child and their teacher to expedite the process.
Pick-up schedule will be as follows, students with last names beginning:
A – E 8:30am – 9:30am pick-up (along with signed User Agreement grades 3 & 4)
F – M 9:30am – 10:30am pick-up (along with signed User Agreement grades 3 & 4)
N – Z 10:30am – 11:30am pick-up (along with signed User Agreement grades 3 & 4)
Thank you for helping us provide a continuity of learning during our school closure. If you have any questions please feel free to email your child’s teacher or me so we can partner together to support your child. Stay safe and be well!
