Dear Mullen-Hall Families,

Happy Labor Day!! Enjoy this weekend and we will see you on Tuesday,  SEPTEMBER 5th for Grades 1-4.  School begins at 9:05.  On Tuesday, teachers will be located on the front field together with their grade level. There will be signs identifying each where each grade level can be found.  Grab and Go breakfasts will be located at each of the entrance doors in the morning.  Students are welcome to grab a breakfast at arrival.   Meals will be free.

IMPORTANT AND A MUST DO!

There are NO MORE paper emergency contact forms coming home with students. ALL INFORMATION MUST BE ENTERED IN THE PARENT PORTAL. 

THE ONLY FORM COMING HOME IS THE DISMISSAL PLAN. 

Parent Portals are a must. We are here to help! If you have already set up your portal all you need to do is update the forms.  If you have not you must create your account.  You must have your Access ID number and user name which we have at school. Please call for assistance WE ARE HERE FOR YOU ! 

 

***We need to know your student’s dismissal plan for the first week of school! Please use this form to tell us how your student will go home each day during week one. Thank you!*** 

DISMISSAL PLAN WEEK 1

You will receive a paper form home on the first day to fill out for your student’s weekly dismissal plan for the remainder of the year!!!

 

Safe Arrival Program:

If your child is going to be tardy or absent from school for any reason, including family obligations, please telephone the school Safe Arrival number at 508-548-0220 ext. 4.  This extension is available 24 hours a day for your convenience. Leave a recorded message that includes the student's name, your name, grade and reason for not attending. These messages are checked at 9:30 am and checked against our school attendance sheet. If your child is absent/tardy and you have not called the Safe Arrival number, we will make a call to you to check on the safety of your child. Using our Safe Arrival number will help us avoid making unnecessary phone calls.

The  Mako Memo is my weekly communication with families. The memo is  sent  electronically to families  on Fridays by 5:00pm. Please update your contact information if it has changed, as the memo will include important information and dates for the upcoming week.

Included in the memo is a Google Form as one way for you to share your thoughts and ask questions. I am always available by phone call/ email  or feel free to drop in.

PTO News and Info.

The PTO is always looking for members, volunteers and ideas you can offer. If interested in joining our team, attending a monthly meeting or connecting with the current board members, please email mullenhallpto@falmouth.k12.ma.us anytime. The PTO is happy to announce their first “back to school” event, Mullen Hall Movie Night (movie TBD) in the front bus circle, 6:00 pm Friday Sept. 22nd. Bring a blanket or a chair and come hang with other Mako families for a night of fun. Another HUGE thank you to our amazing Mullen Hall PTO who surprised staff on Wednesday with morning coffee  from The Shine Mobile Coffee Truck and breakfast treats!! What a fabulous way to start the year! Mullen Hall PTO ROCKS!!!

Free and Reduced Cost Internet 

The Falmouth Public Schools is partnering with Better Broadband for Falmouth (BB4F) to provide student households with free or significantly discounted internet service. Over 40% of Falmouth households qualify. BB4F volunteers can help student households apply.
