MAKO MEMO
April 29, 2022
Dear Families,
We hope everyone enjoyed the well deserved break ! It was so good to see the return of our Makos!
Our Garden Clean-up day will be held tomorrow Saturday, April 30, 2022! We appreciate your efforts and gift of time to make our garden bountiful and beautiful for our students. With the warm weather upon us, we are finding more clothing items shed on the playground. Please label your child’s clothing if you can!
Over vacation some of the playground swings have been replaced and wood chips have been replenished throughout the playground area. One of the basketball rims had to be replaced. It has been ordered and the DPW will hang it when it arrives. Thank you again DPW!
Arbor Day was a huge success! Students traveled through stations on the library lawn. Thank you to Jeremiah Pearson from the DPW for organizing such a fantastic event.
On Thursday, April 28th the Quills and Quotes Poetry Celebration took place at Highfield Hall. Eli Porter, a second grader received third place. Congratulations Eli! Thank you to our librarian Mrs. Do for supporting our young poets!
Another successful musical performance was held on Wednesday. Our second grade Makos were amazing! Thank you to Mrs. Jazo and the second grade team.
Today, the Falmouth Police Department welcomed our students out front for our first “High Five Friday” in over 2 years! Thank you so much FPD for all that you do!
