Dear Mullen-Hall Families,

Thank you to all for coming out to Meet Your Teacher Night!  It was lovely to have families in the building again. Picture Day went off without a hitch!  Picture Makeup Day will be on November 10th.

Kindergarten iPads will begin to travel back and forth beginning October 7th. They will only go home for the weekends, vacations and holidays.

Commissioner Riley has extended the mask mandate until November 1st.

Parent Conferences are scheduled for October 19th! Please be on the lookout for communication from your teacher to schedule a time to connect. Kindergarten conferences are slated for January.

Always know that you can connect with your child’s teacher at any point during the school year.

The new bus routes are posted on the school website.  NEW MULLEN HALL BUS ROUTES

Please check your route before Wednesday October 6th! *NOTE: To allow drivers an opportunity to learn their new routes, NO BUS “SWITCHES” will be allowed until after October 12th. Thank you very much for your understanding!

Falmouth VIPS will be conducting a CORI Form event on Wednesday, October 6, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in front of the Falmouth High School. We'll be outside

near the bus circle. You can print and fill out your CORI in advance or we'll have forms with us that day. You will need to bring a photo ID so we can verify the CORI. In case of rain, we'll be inside the main lobby.

If you miss this opportunity, we will continue to offer other CORI events.

If you would like to consent to have your child participate in the Test & Stay program, please sign up  online here:  Test & Stay Consent.  If you do not want to sign up online, a hard copy of the consent form has been sent home with your child.  Testing information and the hard copy consent form are included here, as well: FPS COVID-19 Testing Family Letter.pdf and DESE Student COVID-19 Testing Consent Form.pdf.

By signing up for the Test & Stay program, your child will be able to remain in school following an exposure by taking a rapid COVID-19 test here at school for five consecutive days so long as their test results are negative and so long as they do not show any symptoms.

We will continue to ensure students and staff practice mask wearing and regularly washing hands or using the hand sanitizer stations in every classroom.

A Message from music teacher, Mrs.Teresa Jazo:

Hello Mullen-Hall Families!

  • We have been celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by playing music from different hispanic countries every morning during the announcements.  Some kids have mentioned that they would like to hear the songs again.  Here are the google slides that I used to find the songs.

  • It is starting to get chilly and we are spending at least half of music class outside.  Please send in sweaters or fall jackets.

  • I am looking for adults to come and learn recorder with us.  No experience necessary.  4th grade meets everyday from 9:40-10 and 3rd grade meets everyday from 11:25-12:15.  If you've ever wanted to learn a musical instrument this is your chance!  We will begin in November.  Please let me know which day and time you would like to come!
