New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)

  • After the decennial evaluation visit in October 2010, Falmouth High School received a letter from the Commission on Public Secondary Schools, which notified the faculty of the school's accreditation status: continued accreditation.

This placed FHS among the most elite of classifications. We moved directly to the two-year progress report with no need for a special progress report. We are among a small group of schools moving directly to that level as less than 20% of evaluated schools are able to move directly to the two-year report.

Our continued success is a testament to the efforts and dedication of our faculty and staff, our students and their families, and the many community partners who participate in our ever-expanding catalog of programs.

If you have questions about the accreditation and follow-up processes, you are encouraged to contact either Mary W. Gans or Sonia Tellier.
