Our team of Department Heads are essential members of our Instructional Leadership team. Department Heads are focused on all elements of teaching and learning within and across schools. They partner with teachers, school administrative teams, and the Office of Teaching & Learning to actively engage in activities that directly impact the quality of instruction (e.g., observing classrooms, providing feedback to teachers), design and facilitate professional development, and guide selection of curricular programming and materials. Their collective goal is to create learning experiences that are aligned at each grade and vertically across grades. As members of our Curriculum Council, our Department Heads foster safe, supportive, and positive learning environments that allow our students to meet with strong outcomes.
