Kayla Peard is a 2016 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, receiving a Masters Degree in Conducting where she worked with the UNH Wildcat Marching Band, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Peard received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Maine in 2012. She was a member of the UMaine Honors College and was the 2012 UMaine Salutatorian. Ms. Peard has previously taught high school band at Biddeford High School in Biddeford, ME and K-5 Music at Buxton Center Elementary School in Buxton, ME. She is an avid trumpet player, having played in both University ensembles as well as community organizations. Ms. Peard has been a member of the Falmouth High School Staff since August 2016.
