Computer Lab

Welcome!  At the Teaticket School Computer Lab, students in grades K-4 learn a variety of computer skills.

Resources:

The Teaticket Elementary School Computer Lab is home to 26 student stations running Windows 7, which support computer lessons for all of the TTS K-4 classes. We also have in-classroom student stations. We have a digital camera, flash drives, LCD projectors, a scanner, color and black/white laser printers, a dedicated teacher-only PC for all teachers, 40 alpha-smart student laptops, and technical assistant, which are also available to enhance classroom teaching.

Curriculum:
The district has provided the following software for the K-4 technology curriculum:

  • Kidspiration and Inspiration (multi-faceted software for math, science, social studies, reading and writing and more, includes graphic organizer tools)

  • MS Office (plus Fonts 4 Teachers)

    • MS Word (word processor)

    • MS Excel (spreadsheet)

    • MS PowerPoint (presentation software)

  • Kid Pix for School (multi-faceted drawing and presentation program)

  • Type-to-Learn (typing skills program)

  • Easybooks (publishing program)
